Physical Therapy Department Staff

The PT Department is staffed with two full time physical therapists.  Our hours of operation are 7:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.  We can be reached at 218-679-3912 or 679-3316.  Ask for extension 133, 142, or 244.

How would I be able to make an appointment?

      You are required to have a referral from a physician. 

      It can be an IHS physician, outside-provider, chiropractor, or Nurse Practitioner. 

      The referral needs to be dated within 30 days of your first PT visit.



What is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy is a health care profession that assists with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.  This encompasses physical, psychological, emotional, and social well being.  We see clients with:

      musculo-skeletal issues

      inflammation

      pain

      tightness

      weakness

      stroke  

      amputations

to name just a few.  We see infants to elderly with orthopedic or neurological issues from disease or injury.  We work with patients, families, other care givers, and the Red Lake Community to set goals and develop treatment plans for outpatients, hospital in-patients, and Jourdain-Perpich Extended Care patients.
